• Adults

Typically, each class follows the tried and true daily lesson plan that begins with warm ups and finishes with a neutral or positional spar. Drilling and instruction fill the time within.

Intro classes involve breaking down and instructing the basic positions and techniques, such as closed and open guard, side control, full mount, and back control. As these are the very basics of positions, instructors offer advice on how best to move within these areas and control an opponent.

Advanced classes take that next step and teach more complex techniques and positions and how to link them together.

Regardless of what level you are learning, each instructional period takes safety and respect as cornerstones of success.

  • Kids

Kids classes are broken up into two groups based on age and experience. The Kindergarten through fourth grade, known as the Lil Grapplers, train from 4-4:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The 5th through 8th graders train from 4:45-5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Cost is $125. a month and can be paid using cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal.

Each class is designed to build strength and confidence while learning the essentials of BJJ. Striving to be a good human both on and off the mat dominates the regular "mat chats". As the student progresses, regular feedback is provided in the form of stripes and belt promotions.
